Our eggs are premium quality.
There is no comparison to a factory farm, laying house egg. Birds in laying houses are packed in by the thousands. They live in filthy conditions on their own fecal matter for their entire lives. Even "free-range" is poorly regulated and birds having "access to the outdoors" qualifies. This article from "Mother Earth News" explains it so well.
Plus Non-GMO grains are so much better for the birds and the eggs. Genetic modification is so common that pastured, non-GMO is a rarity.
Furthermore, our eggs are not washed in chlorine. As you know, egg shells are semipermeable which means there is an absorption of the substance in which the egg is washed. We use Basic H from Shaklee as an organic cleanser, only on eggs that are visibly dirty. In fact, if you want to wash the poop off yourself, they'll be happy to package them unwashed.
Each bird and each egg is carefully handled because it is precious, clean food.
